Just as when we are at home, there are certain daily tasks that cannot be entrusted exclusively to the skipper: preparing meals, washing dishes, tidying up the common areas, etc. All these small chores are normally shared among all the holiday participants, unless expressly stated differently in the experience sheet.
But when and who decides the shifts? Usually the arrival at the embarkation point or the pre-departure briefing are the times when the whole crew gathers to organise life on board. In addition to the programme and itinerary of the holiday, a division of roles and tasks will be made. A good solution is to think of rotating shifts, or it is possible to divide the tasks according to the capacity of each participant.
Who is cooking and cleaning during the holiday?
